The military has this great saying, "Embrace the suck." Essentially, stuff sucks sometimes, life continues, just keep going. Sometimes it's so hard when you're losing weight. Some days you just feel like nothing you're doing is enough. For me, that today was today.
It's not like anything went wrong. In fact, looking back it was a great day. I was tired, but the day itself was good. Statistics, gym, good (healthy) food. What more do I need? I don't know.
Some days the entire process just, well, suck. Some days you'll look in the mirror and swear you have never lost a single pound. Some days you'll leave the gym thinking, "Well, I guess I worked out." Some days there will be people whose mere presence at the gym annoys you. Some days people just... just... ugh!
It's important to remember that it's not their fault. You're just having a bad gym day. And guess what? It's okay. It's totally okay to just feel meh about a day. You have your ups and downs in the gym, just as you do everywhere else. The important thing is you do your routine, maintain form, and get through it. You'll never regret a routine--you will regret skipping. I may not have had the best arm workout today--actually, the routine was good and I finished, but it just wasn't epic--but I worked out. Sometimes you have to be happy with just that. Not every day is epic, but the results will be.
